![]() ![]() The position also led me to travel to New Haven in April for the USBG Regional Conference where I had the chance to interact with my peers in other chapters across the Northeast. Moreover, I took the helm on running some of the chapter events. I soon took on the role of secretary which included much of the social media, member emails, and the like. I was elected to the board of directors for the USBG Boston chapter late last year, and that position began in January. I cannot reveal more until I am fully trained, but it does coincide rather well with my love of American whiskey! I will continue to bartend with soon seven years under my belt, but this will add diversity and intrigue to my professional life.Ģ. Towards the end of the year, I was approached by a brand to become a part time ambassador, and I accepted the job. I got obsessed with cocktails about 4 years ago and would books from used book store in town and bout several Kindle books, watched tons of Youtube and the Bijou was always one of those classic cocktails that came up and I love Green Chartreuse so its one of the cocktails I have every once in a while I used Willet Pot Still Reserve the last time I made a Paper Plane, but Willet has been tough to find now a days so will need to find another Bourbon that I can find in Florida. It's been my go to Bourbon for longer than I can remember and it pairs really well with a paper plane which is not a spirit forward cocktail and leans more on the sweet since Amaro Nonino and Aperol are both on the sweeter side when it comes to Amaro and Apertifs respectively. I used to always use Woodford Reserve in my Paper Planes.
